Ayo Psychology

Reading the study of a Harvard student codenamed "commitless"

The finish the analogy test:

As exciting as ... a bowl of goldfish
As meek as ... a plate of peas
As artificial as ... love

On a slightly different note - I've been learning Ebonics in my expository writing class.

Blog design complete!

Thanks to J, the blog has been revamped and reached awesome graphic design status.

And yes, all the photography/artwork on this blog is my own.

And yes, I will write about people the way I see them. Life is more fun that way isn't it?

Cheers!

My school is the definition of awkward

Annenberg - Cambridge
J: Can you explain sex to me?
J is a youth of curious nature with a jovial look and a clean shaven face. The latter is due to mostly to ethnicity and not preferences of personal hygiene.
A&K: Why?
A has a look of mischief in her eyes as she obviously enjoys this topic of conversation. Her smile at this question is as wild as her mass of brown curly hair. Meanwhile K looks on with a bemused and slightly confused expression - judging J with every blink of her oriental eyes.
J: Well, I just don't want to be a layman
A: Oooohh! One of her many signature sounds You don't want to be a layman, but you want to be a laid man!
A and K crack up at this pun
J: I didn't think it was that funny
K: I thought it was pretty funny, I mean it fit
J: It most certainly fit
K: And as long as it fits that's all that really matters.
A, K, and J simultaneously look up to the heavens (or the high arches of the Berg) as they realized they have thus come to the ultimate truth of the matter. And happily they left the Freshman dining hall, most likely never to breech the subject in such a manner ever again.

You clean up quite nicely!

Why do people use that phrase?
"clean up" brings to mind something that's wiped clean but someone who cleans up nicely isn't clean at all. In fact they're heavily made up.
I think I'll use that phrase from now on - make other people feel like they were dirty before they cleaned up.

Babies and little kids are getting cuter.
Stupid genetics, stop sending me messages.

Sometimes I wonder

I was walking through the yard back to my dorm today when I thought to myself
Damn, why is everyone around me so smart?
And then I realized I was at Harvard.

I'm such a dumbass.

I then proceeded to text message this story to three people.

A substitute will do

Following the pregame, EXP will be performing at the SuperHeroes Party which donates money to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute!
EXP is the premier dance group at Harvard - that apparently pregames before performances. I am for sure trying out come spring.

My camera's sitting on my desk nicely packaged in the home-made box I put together 4 weeks ago. I think it's time to send it out so I can get some pictures onto this blog.
I am a big believer in thousand word posts.

I am also a big believer in the impossibility of memorizing Chinese characters.

The problem with creativity

eschew obfuscation

sine qua non

sunshine in may

Who decided that somewhat obscure yet intellectually inclined phrases were good names for blogs?
Whoever did - darn them.

Let's take a bet on whether or not I can keep this up for the next four years. If you all bet in favor and I bet against them we have ourselves a deal.
